Wash your dirty car without water?

Wash your dirty car without water?

In this session we’re going to go through
and we’re going to do waterless car wash on an extremely filthy car [MUSIC] Thanks for checking out 3D products, I’m Donald Williams. In is session we’re going to go
through and we’re going to do waterless car wash on an extremely filthy car. As
we get going we’ve had a lot of questions that we’ve done some waterless
car wash demonstrations before and people say, oh well, let’s try it on a really
dirty car we’re gonna do that for you! This is right before MUD! Waterless car
wash will be able to handle this without any problems. So we have white and we
have black we have an extremely soft black top. We’re going to show you how
much protection of waterless car wash will do so as we spray it and show it’s
safer and to be able to do this without scratching up the surface will also show
you a good demonstration with how much these white you know cuz is gonna and
all this black cuz there’s our white will be able to get this so we’re gonna
go ahead and get started here I’m gonna do our regular two towel method. We’re
going to get the towel wet we’ve seen in previous segments you strongly recommend
you use a microfiber towel make sure it’s clean that there’s no sticks or
dirt or anything go ahead and dampen it up so we’re gonna go with two towels
gonna get one towel nice and damp we’re gonna go with another towel dry. The
benefit to that is especially on real dirty cars it’s gonna be able to glide a
little bit better provide a better gloss and glide for the picking up of
the dirt also we’re gonna make sure that we do make this one towel and we are gonna origami
in make it into eight towels. So first things first You always you want to start from the
top down. Now we want to make sure that we put
enough on here, not too much. Right there’s the limit where we want to be. Take our damp towel and in one direction wipe it up. Now this thing is gonna need some serious clay to be done here and then if you have some of these other little things
here we can take. that are stuck on there let them soak for a second clean them up
now what I want you to notice as we do this is the direction that we’ve done
this towel and that you guys can actually see is that that waterless has
a emulsified actually picked it up if you notice here we don’t have all these
scratch and drag patterns going left to right actually have some swirl marks
from when this car was washed maybe in a car wash or dried up that we have here
we don’t have scratch patterns going back and forth which shows us is because
I’ve done a waterless car wash here that it wasn’t from waterless causing the
scratch which it did nice nice good even glide okay now moving on to the
next part my towel is dirty and flip it over the other side. We are going to go waterless
now if you’ve noticed here you got a little bit of run which means that I went
a little heavy but most of it is staying in place which is part of the products
identity it’s going to be able to get there penetrate and pull up that dirt so
as we wipe it down we’re not going to get drag and that product is actually lifting off there instead of just running down we’re again we’re going to start
from the top we’re gonna work our way down we go one direction a little bit of
a “S” pattern on our glass obviously we’re not worried about scratching it so
we could take and kind of just rub that down here and then actually get pretty
much close to streak-free glass here if you get it dried up quickly. See the dirt it pulled off? Now the thing is if we go in one direction microfiber towel and this being an extremely dirty car
we’ll probably do a little bit more than your regular for your towels
hopefully you plan on detailing a car like this after because, wow look at
that sucker. Remember I can show you get more towels out of this I’m taken and I
have folded it in 8 so we have gone through pretty much three four or five
sections I go back over this last one here and now if we’ve notice its dried
up just use a little bit more waterless then you can just take it buff it out
and you can see you get a good little gloss here but one of the things that
shows how well this product works is it does have a little bit of a fill to it
so it’s going to leave behind some silicone some emulsified silicone it’s a
waxes behind so that because that’s what help glides the product kind of like
ball bearings so if you were to take and remove this with rubbing alcohol right
here you would definitely see a difference in the gloss on the black so
that’s about as dirty as it gets or wiping this down real quick we’ll get
this ready now make sure again as you’re doing this you want
you go in one direction or in an “S” pattern so that the dirt is gathered on
your towel and what i’m doing here is i’m actually scrubbing the dirt into it
and not really cleaning i know we want to think that we’re doing cleaning so
we’re going to clean this up so we’re going to scrub and like elbow grease
like we’re cleaning a bathroom. This is a painted surface we don’t want to do that
we don’t want to scrub the car we actually just want to remove the dirt
and then do the polishing now you’ll see here we dry it off we’re gonna be
scraping this cars down that’s a big no-no probably it’s not something we
recommend to do there’s a lot of people out there they’re saying no matter what
you’re going to scratch waterless car wash is going to be probably the most
scratch resistant that you wull able to come across. we’ll use it we start
thinking about if you’re going to be washing yourself yeah you can go with
touchless but on some of these heavy dirt with the pressure washer and with
everything there’s no way you’re gonna get a lot heavy dirt off with just a
pressure washer the other thing is when your car’s out the dirty
parking lot say someone brushes up against it chances are they’re gonna put
a whole lot more scratches in that even if you wash it with a wool mit this
waterless car wash is something that’s going to be great for if you put a good
layer of wax on there say HD poxy, 3D Poxy 505, HD Speed one of these products on here waterless car wash is not going to strip that wax it’s going to help to
build something up in between the wax and your microfiber towel so that it
basically vacuums it right off so again and take it now this is a half glass lid
as well but this is all the paint over here and it’s wiped in now I did a
cardinal sin here I actually took the dirt and I wiped it into a place that
was already clean which is opposite of what you want to do so you’ll actually
want to take and wipe it over into the dirt Get rid of these areas then take your
dry clean towel and buff it right out. see you get a nice gloss to it even on
the glass all the dirt here on just one towel so we got all eight sections done
take your towel put it into a bucket you don’t want to put a microfiber on the
ground and get it ready for wash when you wash and wash them in low heat or no
heat and if they come out a little damp that’s basically how you want to do it
otherwise they get hard and the plastic that’s in the fibers for the microfiber
will melt. Go ahead and we’re going to watch this car all down and get it ready
for our next video which we’re gonna show you how to get rid of some of these
water spots will show you how to clay it why to clay it we’re gonna show you when
to apply the wax what the appropriation is a wax make sure you look out for
those next couple of upcoming videos until then Donald Williams keeping up to speed
with all 3D’s latest greatest innovative car care products we’ll see you next time. [MUSIC]

  • Not doubting the effectiveness of the product but would like to see it used on a car from New York or similar area during the winter. When the car is covered with salt, dirt and mud and is really dirty.

  • I am a fan of your products, I am a subscriber. PLEASE take my advice and get a new microphone or figure out how to edit your audio settings. It is painful to listen to these videos because of how bad the audio quality is. You could get MUCH BETTER audio quality with a built-in microphone on a decent cell phone or a $200 action camera.
