This is the SpeedClean Group. We are primarily a Texas based company.
We started in 2006 Our first investment was in real estate
and Full Service Car Wash business. Our first year, we took the company from a
$700,000 business to a $1 million business. We have been in this for two now
and it has been really successful. We are now looking to grow the company by
going from the full service labor intensive markets into automated business called
the car wash Express Exterior module This module is much more easier to run. Takes care of higher volume of cars and makes
enough of money than the full service module. Having been in the petroleum and automotive
industry in America for the past 10 years I have watched this industry grow. I have the expertise that is needed to
do very well in the car wash industry. I have also invested in car
wash in the past two years. I know how it runs, I know the module
that’s going to make more money And that is the Express Exterior module. Music Plays I started this business
as full service operator. And 20 years of operations, I actually
got out of the full service business. And got into the equipment and chemical business
The supporting systems to the car washes. In the Express Exterior you handle a more traffic a
lot more customers than with the full service module. There’s three basic models in the car wash
business as the full service model the Flex model and the Express Exterior model. The exterior model actually has
less dollar generated per car But when you look at it on a P&L, the profit and loss
statement will tell you that the Express Exterior model you keep more of every dollar earned. Besides that you are able to process two to three
to four times as many cars in one give hour. This particular car wash here
was a full service model. We shut it down last year. As a full service model it only operated
between 1,500 and 2,000 cars a month. And it was just not a good looking
building or anything else. And last year we basically tore, a lot of them
façade down, a lot of the building down and rebuilt re-landscape changed the flow of traffic
we reversed the traffic going through the tunnel. And now as an Express model this month
it’s going to wash over 9,000 cars. You know, that’s a testament to this model. People talking to customers and so forth
in the vacuum area customers love it. They say it’s additive. Elderly people do not like
to get down the vehicle. A lot of mothers with children don’t want to
take their kids on the car seats and so forth. Everybody says it’s like Disney World. We have a lot of LED lights inside the tunnel. So for a kids and children they love to see the
lights coming on, we put on a good show. At the exit end, we do hand finish
every car we have free vacuum areas. At the exit end you notice we have the vacuum
trough where customers will go pull up, they’ll get on the vacuum their own car. And you would be amazed of
how many people do that. In a Full Service model you stop the car you vacuum
the car you put it on the conveyor you stop it there. You prep the car you send it through
the tunnel and comes out the tunnel. You pull it out, you stop it there and
then the customer re-enters the car. Whereas in the Exterior model you have the customer
in the car you allow the customer, the customer comes out and that chain never stops. The whole idea is the process never stops and that’s
why we’re able to process more cars an hour. At this particular store we do have a separate
detail building with a separate detail lobby. But the lobby is unmanned. We basically have free coffee, free water, Soda
pop machines vending type Soda pop machines. And a nice area for the customers to wait. Traditionally labor runs loaded labor runs loaded
labor FICA, FUE, SUE workmens comp. Loaded labor runs about 35% to 40% of
your total revenue. Whereas as the Express model we’re running
here about 155 of our gross revenue. So the freedom on an owner
being able to put people on site. You are managing one-third
of the normal staff. Normal payroll for full service
car wash is about 30 plus people. Our payroll here is about ten. So the less people, the less headaches.
We allow the equipment to do the work. Music Plays In investing in the car wash we are going to look
at sites that are located near to prime industry and prime companies Like McDonald, like Starbucks We are currently located next to Starbucks
and business is booming. We will develop only in areas where
clients are not going to be a problems. Music Plays The imports and exports parts of the business
is handled by materials and parts. Here we do import industrial chemicals for the petroleum
and oil industry and for the food and beverage industry. We are big importers of industrial chemicals and
these are used for manufacturing in West Africa. We are currently involved with Chevron and we
sell to Nigeria National Petroleum Company. In the food and beverage we sell to Lever Brothers
Cadburry’s, Nestle, Nigerian Brewers and Accra Brewers. Music Plays The goal of the SpeedClean group is to raise
$10 million from private equity investors and to use this to acquire real estate commercial property
that will develop the Express Exterior car washes. We are also going to be using parts of this
fund to grow our materials and parts division That specializes in importation of industrial
chemicals, machines and parts. Every equity investor in the business will be given
a chance to contribute to the growth of the business. And be part of the business, not just necessarily investing
but also to be part of what is happening in the group. Thank you.
